Prodigy Ventures runs a craft coffeehouse on 40th and Colorado that has been working with disengaged, underserved youth for over five years. Prodigy has a proven track record of success and is expanding to a second site on 45th and Broadway, with plans to expand to five locations by 2027.

Rocky Mountain Microfinance Institute supports underserved entrepreneurs as they seek to expand their businesses and gain entrepreneurial skillsets. RMMFI has a proven track record within the community and remains active in community events and business partnerships across Colorado.

The King Foundation made a program-related investment to help Urban Land Conservancy, along with several key partners, acquire the area formerly owned and used by Johnson & Wales University. The newly named “Park Hill Campus,” will be divided into three portions and owned and managed by ULC, Denver Public Schools and the Denver Housing Authority. The King Foundation investment is focused on the Culinary Arts building and programs that will house the Kitchen Network. In partnership, The Kitchen Network and Emily Griffith Technical College will offer training and support to developing chefs and new businesses, and eventually offer a track for Denver School of the Arts and Metro State students in the culinary arts.
